چکیده

When technology enters applications and processes with a long tradition of controversial societal debate, multi- faceted new ethical legal questions arise. This paper focusses on the process whistleblowing, an activity large impacts democracy business. Computer science can, for first time in history, provide truly anonymous communication. We investigate this relation to values rights accountability, fairness data protection, focusing opportunities limitations anonymity that can be provided computationally; possible consequences outsourcing whistleblowing support; challenges interpretation use some relevant laws. conclude address these questions, must rest three pillars, forming “triangle protection incentivisation” combines formal technical sense; whistleblower through laws; other norms practices including organisational error culture.

Why empiricism is not enough.
Those involved in the improvement science community have much to celebrate as more resources become available to improve patient safety. Professor Kathleen Steven’s letter in this issue reminds us there is still much to do and that progress depends on building the scientific basis for improved patient safety and health outcomes. Professor Stevens’ letter builds on Professor Pearson’s promotion ...
متن کاملWhy Pure Quantum Theory Is Not Enough
The theory of KdV equations allows to construct examples of physically different canonical structures for the same Hamilton operator. These examples are unproblematic in pilot wave and dynamical collapse theories, which define a physically distinguished configuration space Q, and in the Copenhagen interpretation, which identifies the canonical operators with classical descriptions of the corres...
متن کاملKnowledge Management: Why Learning from the Past Is Not Enough!
Traditional knowledge management (KM) approaches aim to archive information from the past so lessons will not be forgotten, implying that the information needs of the future are expected to be the same as they were in the past. The basic assumption underlying our approach is that knowledge is not a commodity to be consumed but is collaboratively designed and constructed, emphasizing innovation,...

Object−oriented programming hasn't created a viable software component industry. From a technical perspective, the reason for this failure lies in an insufficient consideration of the unique requirements of component software. Object−oriented programming too often concentrates on individual objects, instead of whole collections of objects, i.e., components. Component−oriented programming requir...
